한국에는 아직도 코로나 상황이 엄중하여 많은 선수들이 온전한 훈련 활동에 복귀하는데 지장이 있다. 어른들이 체념하고 있는 동안 아이들은 운동을 갈망하고 있다. 3살 이삼보는 아버지 이기훈의 지도하에 컴벳삼보 훈련을 시작했다.
영상으로 볼 수 있듯이 타격기술 위주로 훈련이 진행되며 승리를 확정지을 그라운드 기술로의 전환도 배운다.
2019세계삼보선수권대회 기간에 개최지인 청주에서 활동하는 이기훈 관장의 아들이 태어났다. 대회와 종목을 기념하여 아들 이름을 삼보라고 지었다.
정확히 2년 뒤 2021년 11월 10일 동생이 태어났고 대한삼보연맹 일동과 이기훈 관장 가족은 작명에 심혈을 기울였다. 동생 이름은 로운이라 짓기로 하였고 세계 삼보 커뮤니티는 삼보가 이로운 스포츠라는 점을 재확인하였다.
